I’m the author of a biography about Mrs. Oswald Chambers which released in fall 2017.

I wrote a dozen stories about the surprising serendipities that happened while I researched and wrote both the biography and a historical novel involving Biddy and OC, called A Poppy in Remembrance.
Unexpected emails, astonishing research finds at remarkable moments, photos, and encouragement almost bewildered me for two years!
Not to mention the crazy way it all began. I just went to work one day, and my life, my family’s life, my friends’ lives, and my church’s interest turned upside down.

FYI i have been given a whole cache of OC memorabilia which was originally given to Kathleen’s next neighbour in muswell hill (mccasland only made copies for example of the photographs, I have the originals, plus he upset crown terrace Baptist church by putting their deacons court minutes into the public domain without their permission), plus I have OC’s Bible given to him by Biddy Christmas 1911. I also know of OC’s study desk which I am likely to receive vet soon.
Just one question as I have still to read your biography, what do you think of the previous biography of Biddy published in 2008 which I have, ‘ Searching for Mrs. Oswald Chambers: One Woman’s Quest to Uncover the Truth about the Woman behind the Most Celebrated Devotional’? Finally Arthur Neil who held OC’s philosophical papers passed them on to me when I was at the Faith Mission college in Edinburgh back in the early 1990s. He chaired the OCPA for years. Hope that is all of interest.
